What I did for this project:

Working in a team of 4

Writing Design Documents during pre-production

Designing levels in Adobe Illustrator

Building levels in Unreal Engine 4

Adjusting the lighting for levels in Unreal Engine 4

3D modeling environmental assets / UV unwrapping / Texturing assets in Maya

Designing the combat system with teammates
What I learned from this project:

The grappling system is the core mechanism of this game, affecting the combat style and level design
-
But the combat system is still the fundamental core system of an action game. So it is necessary to figure out the combat system as early as possible
-
Keep testing and iterating rapidly. Always test the new design as soon as possible
-
Open to all the suggestions, analyzing and testing them, then selecting the good parts to add into the game
-
Communicating with teammates all the time and working together to find a workable solution
